European Layovers
Rome
In my opinion, it is clearly one of the most FANTASTIC places to be in a european layover. Its history SURPRISES you at every turn, and its religious sites are SPECTACULAR. Just seeing everyday life in the old part of town is AMAZING! Drinking out of public water fountains is very, very FUN in itself! Sightseeing is FABULOUS (especially when you are freezing your teeth on gelato!) - Ethan Istanbul

London
We had a 12 hour layover in London and decided to make the most of it by exploring a couple parts of the city. My personal favorite place was the British Museum. It was dazzling with everything you could imagine from the Rosetta Stone, to Greek and Roman sculptures, to an amazing exhibit on the evolution of modern day medicine. Also, walking around the streets of London was an experience in itself with all the architecture, including the classic "Big Ben", Parliament and the London Bridge. Have fun in London and don't forget to take advantage of your layovers! - Grant
