It's not what to do but what not to do in and around Dubai. It seemed like every year more and more people were getting involved and there are great online groups and forums for almost any pursuits. Ask around, find like minded people, get a 4x4 (this is not even a debate) and get out there away from the malls, the cities and the pavement. Yes, the weather is a bit challenging from May through September but even in those months we have had great outdoor adventures (though it was true we spent the summers in New Hampshire!). - Ryan
