DWS - Deep Water Soloing
Deep Water Soloing (DWS) is an awesome way to rock climb. All you need is a hook ladder, a boat, and a big cliff above water. Now most of you will be asking, "What is Deep Water Soloing anyways?" Here's your answer:
DWS is where you boulder on cliffs over deep water. Unlike regular climbing, there are no ropes or harnesses used. Instead you climb out of the water and climb up the rock face as high as you like (or can). DWS is sometimes scary because you can get so high up over the water, but the good news is that you get to decide how high you want to go. And you can always jump off at any point in time. You can also just snorkel and look at the spectacular fish at the bottom. Finally, some things that make DWS fun is that you can right to the climbing and everybody can do it at once. Thrilling and rewarding at the same time. - Ethan
