Sri Lanka
If you're leaning out of trains, getting splashed by elephants, or riding the wave of your life, you will admit (or yell) Sri Lanka is the place to be! It can be beautiful, scary, fun, relaxing, but no matter what, you will always want to get back there! It has the best waves, the funnest elephant riding, the coolest bird watching, and the yummiest food! The coast is almost tropical, with its beaches and palm trees, but the farther north and inland you get , the colder the temperature gets, and the more windy the roads! The trees differ on how high the altitude is. First its eucalyptus, then a sort of thin branchy one, then one that looks like birch, then types of fir and pine! But where ever you are, whatever your doing, Sri Lanka's always awesome! - Ethan

A perfect vacation spot with thousands of fun things to do, whether you are touring, going on elephant or jaguar safaris, surfing or visiting tea plantations. I remember when our friends and my family were surfing, relaxing on the beach, and just living the dream. We spent about a week exploring and surfing the coastline taking awesome pictures and having endless amounts of fun. Then we left our friends house and traveled to the mountainous region, going by car and by train. There we got to visit tea plantations, where we saw how the made the different types of tea and refine and make it, first by drying the tea for three days then grinding it up. Then they shredded the tea even smaller, then after a few more steps it is ready to be shipped off. The process reminded us of the What Do People Do All Day book. That was really fun, and then we hiked up to Lipton's Seat, and explored a bit more. That was one of my favorite parts, but some of the others were the botanical gardens, train ride, elephant sanctuary, and many more. Over all it was a great trip and I recommend it to everyone. - Grant
